Hello World!

New Look

As the summer of 2016 opened it’s doors, and my twenty-eighth birthday approached, I sat in my office and visualized Lillie Fortino Photography’s identity. My small photography company is young, at merely four years, and has always felt like it was looking for it’s selfness in the world.

My little business is my outlet for dreaming. I dream about what it could be in the future, what I could do better, and what type of pulchritudinous (that one’s from my Word of The Day calendar!) prospective love stories there are for me to orchestrate through my photography.

I know what I love doing, and I know what I want to say with my camera; how I want to tell your stories, how I want to create photographic heirlooms. But did my public presentation really reflect that? Or was that truth only rightly expressed to my clients once they received their images after a dream-like wedding has passed?

I didn’t want to ask this question. I wanted my clients and potential clients to see exactly what Lillie Fortino Photography represents upon their first impression. I wanted Lillie Fortino Photography to look like the stories that this little business and camera told.

So I dreamed, and I worked. I drank coffee and beer and dedicated endless hours of this new summer to creating. Not creating with my camera, but with my computer.

Proudly, I introduce to you all Lillie Fortino Photography’s new website. New blog. New selfness.

At almost 28, I once and for all feel like Lillie Fortino Photography is finally representing itself to the world the way it was always supposed to. Maybe it has to do with growing up.

In honor of the upcoming 4th of July holiday… this is my American dream.
